Assessment Description The purpose of this assignment is to identify an area or topic within health care that you would like to further understand. In this assignment, you will begin to create a research rough draft based on the information you prepared in the “Identification of a Research Topic” from the topic 1 assignment.
Utilize the GCU library and locate three additional articles that will complement and support your specific topic of interest. In a 1,500- to 2,000-word research rough draft, utilizing the research process (refer to your text, Understanding Research), include the following: An introduction to the topic. An explanation of how the articles are used in scholarly research within health care as it relates to the allied health care profession. A discussion of the ethical considerations for data collection. An explanation of what the data reveals in terms of statistical analysis, including quantitative and qualitative.
Include a discussion of the conclusions that can be made from the data and how it would be applied to the health care setting. An evaluation, based on the research, of whether there is enough information to decide on the effectiveness on the topic as it relates to the allied health care professional. A summary of the conclusions from the articles. Support your rough draft with at least 3 scholarly resources. Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required. This assignment uses a rubric.
