Sumbmitted argument:
The article I chose for my ATF paper is about how starving oneself is “biohacking” and not a problem. My argument will be just the opposite.The author claims explains his experience with starving himself and discarding the exercise and diet routine. He claims that, “It would perhaps be going too far to call this kind of behavior ‘eating disorders’.” I believe that starving oneself is harmful and causes patterns that become problems. I will uses strategies such as definition– explaining what starvation is exactly, cause and effect– what happens to your body when it lacks nutrients, and problem/solution– what your life can become if this habit continues.
These strategies will be significantly helpful in writing this rebuttal because they don’t beat around the bush. In some cases when writing argumentative papers, examples will be drawn out and shy away from the main points being made. I believe that it will make my paper clear and concise!
