Assignment: Final Business Proposal
The goal of this task is to complete an internal business plan that details how you will execute the solution to the problem you identified in your company.
You have completed the majority of the required research and tasks for the final business proposal during the semester. As appropriate, consult the “Business Proposal Project Summary” paper. The Executive Summary and the Conclusion/Call to Action are the two areas on which you will concentrate your efforts.
Create your final business proposal document based on feedback from the tasks in Topics 5-7. The final business proposal, which should include each of the elements indicated below, will be evaluated for evidence of amendment based on instructor input.
The Executive Summary (250 words) provides a quick overview of the full proposal so that important stakeholders can get a sense of it without having to read the complete document.
The purpose statement (100-250 words) explains why the business proposal is being written.
Problem Statement (as needed after receiving feedback on Topic 1 assignment) including particular facts (statistics and numbers) on how the problem affects the business. The graph/chart/data you obtained in Part 1 of the Topic 2 assignment should be included in this section of the proposal.
Data and Research Findings (250-500 words) should provide a summary of what you discovered while conducting research and how it relates to what has already been done to address the organizational problem. The graph/chart/data you obtained in Part 2 of the Topic 2 assignment should be included in this section of the proposal.
A overview of the top three problem solutions you examined to address the problem should be included in the proposed solution (250-500 words). This section should include a brief overview of the benefits and drawbacks of implementing each of the top three alternatives being evaluated to solve the problem, in addition to the graph/chart/data you collected in Part 3 of the Topic 2 assignment.
Benefits and Stakeholder Analysis (500 words, changed as needed in response to Topic 3 assignment comments) presents all facts and information pertaining to the major stakeholders affected by the proposed problem solution, as well as a summary of advantages that stakeholders will receive if the problem solution is adopted.
The Change Management Plan (250-500 words) lays out the precise procedures and tactics that will be used to manage the organizational changes that come with implementing the chosen solution.
Implementation Methods (250-500 words) explain the precise tactics that will be used to implement the problem solution, as well as the time and expenses involved.
Evaluating Success (250 words) summarizes the exact metrics you’ll use to assess the problem solution’s success.
The conclusion/call to action (100 words) lays out the exact measures you want key stakeholders and sponsors to follow in putting the proposed solution into action.
Specific data must be included throughout the business pitch. Include statistics that back up the problem statement and may be used to set and measure targets, as well as details about implementation, timing, and cost, as well as stakeholder benefits. Keep in mind that the proposal is an internal document that will be seen by stakeholders within the company where the problem exists, so keep that in mind as you write. Include subsection titles within the Word document to organize content according to the categories indicated above and create convenient reference points for the reader.
