The organization’s strategic strategy, current operations, and external elements that may influence the institution’s future will all be reviewed, according to the CEO. You’ve been chosen to represent your department on a workgroup that will look into these challenges.
Instructions for the First Paper
Choose one critical, current topic in American healthcare or in worldwide health for your first project, and then follow the guidelines below. This document allows you to investigate how current events are impacting the function of the healthcare administrator.
Prepare an 800-1000-word research brief that (1) summarizes a recent news story from Kaiser Health News and (2) examines the significance of this news event for your future as a health-care leader.
At least three (3) scholarly journal papers published in the recent five years should be included in your paper and properly cited. In addition, you must identify the publications using UMUC’s library and include at least one scientific journal with a DOI = digital object identifier on the reference page (example: doi: 10.1108/03090560710821161).
For the cover page, citations, and reference page, use APA style requirements. This paper does not require an abstract.
Prepare your essay in Microsoft Word, with 1-inch margins on all sides, double-spaced, and Times New Roman font size 12 pt. Please keep in mind that the 1000-word limit only applies to the paper’s body.
