American Government Case Study Discussion Essay
Student post:
I never realized the police/NYPD could use special tools like a drone to look into buildings. Here I am worrying only about phones being hacked when there are a lot more ways to get information on what we do, with no way to stop it.

Privacy is very important because they what keep you safe and who you are. Our privacy can be taken away from the governments or hacker or company due to the day in age of technology. We have the freedom from privacy and it is a right. We all have a right to protect our identify and don’t want to show other. As long you are not doing anything wrong or not violating the law. It is important to keep track of our privacy so no one can take it and use and have our freedom to do so.

What stuck out to me in this video lecture had to be the law case of Roe v. Wade. While in 1973, Roe v. Wade the Constitution recognizes a right to privacy and thus a right to abortion but some don’t agree and think otherwise. For example, Joe Biden. While a year later after Roe v. Wade decision, Joe Biden felt as if a woman does not have a say on what should happen to her body. I passionately believe a woman and only a woman has a say on what to do with her body, after all, it’s her choice. Ultimately, it’s her choice if she wants to go along with pregnancy or abort. I understand they are some people that are against it, but it’s her business and no one else’s.
