Employee development is crucial to the success of both an organization and a person. We’ve gone over material on personal development plans in Chapter 8 (attached). We all have goals and objectives that we aim to achieve in order to advance and develop. It’s critical that we build personal development plans to guarantee that we’re on track to meet our objectives.
You must build your own growth plan for this project, which includes a short-term plan (covering 1-2 years) and a long-term plan (spanning 3-5 years). Provide two development targets, specifics on how these objectives will be attained, the timeline associated with skill/competency acquisition, and the type of professional and personal support you require in both your short-term and long-term plans. Consider using SMART goals when creating these objectives.
A total of four development objectives and associated details should be included in your strategy (e.g., two for the short-term plan and two for the long-term plan). Keep in mind that the objectives you’ve set for yourself. There is no one-size-fits-all solution to the goals and objectives you’ve set. As a result, be innovative in your project submission while still following the instructions in Chapter 8.
