Examine the following ethical quandaries:
1. John Doe has made the decision to create a clone of himself. He can’t have children because he’s sterile. He hasn’t been able to locate somebody to marry him. He wants to start a family. He understands that he will be unable to love a child who is adopted or not biologically related to him. He’ll employ a novel process that includes extracting his skin cells and creating a twin. The embryo develops into a child, and the twin develops into a child. In this situation, the child will share John Doe’s genetic information. John Doe’s child and he will be twins.
Jane Doe is eighteen years old. She has been sexually attracted to other girls for as long as she can remember. Her parents practice a faith in which a religious text states that being a lesbian is forbidden by God. Lesbians, according to this religion, will face punishment in the afterlife. Jane Doe is pondering whether or not she should disclose her sexual orientation to her parents. She hasn’t decided whether or not, now that she is an adult, she should come out to her parents and live as a lesbian.
3. Joe and Mary are in a relationship. They had a child before they became sterile. A uncommon condition claimed the life of this child. Joe and Mary are heartbroken about the loss of their kid.
