Material for the course and research
This project requires you to conduct Internet research. You must use course information in ways that go beyond simply describing terminology. The ‘why and how’ of a situation is required of you. Avoid simply making claims; instead, complete the discussion by discussing how or why something occurs, with a focus on importance and impact. You will demonstrate your ability to think clearly and rationally by closing the loop and demonstrating a comprehension of the logical links between the course material and the question(s) being posed. Throughout the paper, using one or two in-text citations from the course material will not gain you many marks on the assignment. The assistance must be relevant and applicable to the topic at hand. Points are scored by clearly and thoroughly describing or debating the subject at hand, not by stating a term or concept.
Your Function
Based on our perceptions and experiences, we can define our attitudes and acceptance or rejection of advertising as consumers. However, as Business Management students, we are expected to investigate the topic in greater depth and from a corporate viewpoint. The following questions will be addressed in Project 2 from the standpoint of a business owner or chief marketing officer.
To finish this project, go to this link: Project 2 Template.
Examine the Paper
Check to see if all of the required elements are included in the paper.
The following are certain guidelines that you must adhere to. Use the checklist to ensure that you’ve met all of the requirements.
Checklist
Requirements for the Project
Make sure your paper is error-free.
While completing the memo, read and apply the grading rubric to ensure that all requirements are completed, resulting in the highest possible grade.
As a Word or RTF file, submit it to the Assignment Folder. There will be no grading of pdf files.
It is necessary to write in the third person. There are no terms such as I, me, my, we, or us (first person writing) or you or your (third person writing) (second person writing). View this link for further information on how to write in the third person: http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/first-second-and-third-person.
Contractions are not appropriate in commercial writing, therefore avoid them.
Use indirect quotation marks instead of direct quotation marks. When you say “don’t use more than four consecutive words from a source document,” what you’re really saying is “don’t use more than four consecutive words from a source document.” Instead, paraphrase a passage from a source document and credit the passage to the source document with an in-text citation.
Changing the wording in a text does not mean it is no longer a direct quote. If more than four consecutive words from source papers are used, the material will not be graded and may result in accusations of academic dishonesty.
Make use of in-text citations and include a reference list that includes the reference for each in-text citation.
It’s important to remember that a reference in a reference list can’t exist without an in-text citation, and vice versa.
You must construct the analysis and justify the reasons using the weekly course resources. Learn How to Support What You Write in the module. There should be extensive use of the course materials as well as an in-depth examination.
The title of the eBook, the chapter title, and the year must all be included in the citations. The case scenario facts are not specified, but when finishing the assignment, do not use more than four consecutive words. If more than four consecutive words from source papers are used, the material will not be graded and may result in accusations of academic dishonesty.
You are not permitted to use books in the completion of this project. It is not permitted to consult dictionaries, encyclopedias, or Wikipedia.
Submit the paper to the Assignment Folder (The assignment submitted to the Assignment Folder will be considered the student’s final product and thus ready for grading by the instructor; it is the student’s responsibility to double-check that the assignment is correct; no exceptions will be considered by the instructor).
NOTE: All work submitted must be your own original work. You are not permitted to use any other student’s work, the Internet, or an online clearinghouse. You must be aware of the Academic Dishonesty and Plagiarism Policy, as well as the fact that it is your obligation to learn about instructor and general academic requirements for correct citation of sources, as outlined in the APA Publication Manual, 7th Edition. (Only in-text citations and a reference list are held accountable to students.) Violations of any sort of Academic Dishonesty and Plagiarism can result in serious consequences, such as a zero on a project, a zero for the course, or removal from the university.
