At UC, we make it a priority to provide students with high-quality educational programs and courses that prepare them to be servant-leaders in their fields and communities, bridging the gap between research and practice and knowledge and ethical decision-making. This is a written assignment in which students must demonstrate how the course research has been applied and implemented in their own careers. Assignment: Provide a 500-word (or 2-page double-spaced) reflection on how the knowledge, skills, or theories learned in this course have been applied, or could be applied, in your current work environment. If you are not currently employed, describe situations in which these theories and knowledge could be applied to a job opportunity in your field of study. Requirements: Provide a minimum reflection of 500 words (or 2 pages double spaced). Use of proper APA citations and formatting. If outside resources are used for support, they must be properly cited. Share a personal connection to this course that identifies specific knowledge and theories. Demonstrate a sense of connection to your current workplace. Demonstrate a connection to your desired work environment if you are unemployed. You should not give a general overview of the course’s assignments. The assignment asks you to reflect on how you used or could use the knowledge and skills you gained by meeting course objectives in the workplace.
