Campus Event Planning
Leadership models are guides to specific leadership mindsets and behaviors. Each model approaches specific environments or situations differently. Understanding and applying these models allows student affairs professionals to become effective and efficient leaders in a variety of circumstances.
Select four leadership models, one being servant leadership. In 750-1,000 words, create a plan describing how an individual utilizing each chosen leadership model would propose and execute an on-campus event.
Include the following:
· Describe the major characteristics of each leadership model.
· Provide a brief description of the on-campus event.
· Explain how each model would be applied to the planning and execution of the event.
· Describe how each model would apply while working with student leaders, student affairs staff, and administration.
· Identify perceived advantages of servant leadership over the other three models that you selected.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using 7th edition APA documentation guidelines.
