Patient CB has had several strokes in the past. Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia have all been diagnosed in the patient. The following are some of the drugs that are currently being prescribed:
Glipizide 10 mg orally once a day
HCTZ 25 mg per day
Atenolol 25 mg orally once a day
25 mg hydralazine qid
Simvastatin 80 mg twice a day
Every day, take 180 mg of verapamil in the form of a CD.
