Assignment 2: Agency Study Paper (25 percent of final grade) submit on Blackboard
The goal of this task is for the student intern to research the field education placement organization that has been allocated to them. Exploring the overall operations of the allocated field education placement organization using critical thinking
skills, interviewing skills, open-ended inquiries, interpersonal skills, and social work knowledge. To aid in the completion of the task, a rubric will be posted on Blackboard. A cover page should be included in the paper, which should be 5-7 pages
long.
The student must provide the following information on the cover page of the paper: Include Your first and last names; the title of the assignment (for example, Agency Study Paper); the class name; and the date
Description of the company: Give a brief overview of the field education placement company. Include the organization’s name, physical address, website, mission, objectives, and services offered. Provide background information on the
organization’s history.
Organization: How are the agency’s and its actors’ roles and responsibilities divided? Include a graph or other graphical representation. Discuss the responsibilities of the organization’s social workers. What other professionals do social
workers collaborate with to ensure that clients get the services they need?
Professional Development: Go over in detail the new hire orientation and training that interns and employees receive. Other professional development trainings provided by the organization to support social workers and other professionals in
the organization could be shared as well. To ensure the effectiveness of client service delivery, discuss the number of support personnel given, their functions, and if the support staff provide appropriate help to social workers.
What are the different ways that services are paid for? Is the money coming from the government or the private sector? What procedures and documents are required by the funding sources? What influence has the present economy, COVID-19,
and other problems had on service funding? Are there any other organizations or agencies that demand specific procedures or evidence in order to support the funding of client services? If so, please elaborate.
