Complex Nature Involving Multiple Employees
The organisation of any nature and any field of operation can be considered to have a complex nature as it involves multiple employees and departments. The employees of the organisation will be from different geographical areas, different skills and expertise, different qualifications, different age groups, different culture as well as different viewpoints (Brett, 2010). Even though there exists diversity, all the employees have to work to achieve a common goal. Conflicts can arise between the employees and between the employee and the organisation. These conflicts can lead to change in decisions affecting the functionality of the organisation. As a result of these conflicts, miscellaneous tasks can also be executed. Conflicts can lead to questioning of the employee rather than his work which creates troubles for the smooth functioning of the organisation (GRINDAL, 2011). If proper steps are not taken to resolve this conflict, the issue can get converted to big form creating problems to the existence of the organisation.
If the confrontation with a problem employee is avoided, then the company is said to make a dangerous choice. As a first step, the company must analyses whether the employee is an employee or not. If he is revealed as a problem employee, the proper conversation has to be conducted by the managers of the company with him to generate a corrective action plan. Proper feedback of the employees should also be passed by the managers to the higher authority level to formulate the corrective action plan. The message regarding the acceptance of the behavior pattern of the problem employee is also passed to the director board and the harm produced by the problem employee is analyzed (Adamu Isa, 2015).The corresponding harm produced by the problem employee if not considered worthy related to corrective action in the leadership plan, then the organisation might fall into issues and this will lead to poor organizational culture.
