Compliance Course Project Procedures
Content for Module 05
At a major medical facility where you are the Compliance Officer, it’s time to describe the monitoring tools for your two compliance programs in a way that all workers will comprehend.
Your task is to produce a 2-3 page section for each compliance plan that describes the monitoring instruments. (The two ideas will take up a total of 4-6 pages; you can write them both in one Word document.)
Then, using one of your monitoring tools, develop a one-page protocol. Each plan’s monitoring instruments should be related to the policies and procedures you created in earlier courses.
Compliance Standards, High-Level Responsibility, Education, Communication, Monitoring/Auditing (for Safety), Enforcement/Discipline, and Response/Prevention are the primary compliance areas for which you selected policies/procedures. (Remember to look them up if you’ve forgotten!) Remember that for the two different compliance plans, you
may have written about various policies/procedures.)
Note that research references must be included throughout your compliance strategy, for a total of 12 references for the entire project. That means one or two references for each of your two compliance plans’ monitoring tools sections.
Follow the instructions below to submit your finished assignment. Specific due dates can be found on the Course Calendar.
Make a Microsoft Word document out of your task. (Please remember to attach the “.docx” extension to the filename if you’re using a Mac.) Your first initial and last name should be in the file’s name, followed by an underscore and the assignment’s name, and an underscore and the date. Here’s an example: Jstudent exampleproblem 101504
