Creating a Content Strategy and a Social Media Marketing Plan for iShirt
The content strategy will be developed after the iShirt campaign goals have been set. Cherie, the VP of marketing, informed you that she anticipates marketing efforts to begin one week prior to the iShirt debut. Please bear in mind that not
every post will be aimed at generating purchases. This is predicated on the top of the sales funnel, which is exposure. A mix of corporate and consumer-oriented material could pique the interest of the target audience and spark conversation. Instructions: The social media marketing plan’s (SMMP) fourth phase should incorporate platform-specific approaches that complement the iShirt campaign’s goals: Topics and forms of content Describe the many types of material and
primary subjects that will be used in the iShirt social media campaign. Include a description of how you intend to obtain the content.
Please refer to the textbook’s Chapters 6 and 7. Prioritization of social media platforms Using the social media platforms you identified in phase one, divide them into three levels. Tier one is the iShirt campaign’s main focus, tier two represents supplementary platforms, and tier three represents any other supporting channels. Please see Chapter 4 of the textbook for more information.
Determine the frequency of publishing that should be used for each social media channel using a content calendar. For one month of the campaign, fill out the content calendar template given. This is the posting schedule, which should span one week before and three weeks after the iShirt debut. Please include the proper content format and frequency for each platform.
Create a two-page paper outlining the Phase 4 portion of your final plan using the Phase Four Worksheet included in the assignment (plus separate Reference page and complete content calendar). Back up the details of your proposal using
at least two independent reputable sources. Because this is a business course, spelling, punctuation, and proper business writing structure are important. For assignment specifics and assessment, see the final Social Media Marketing Plan.
