The requirements of the labor, resources, and patients are frequently at odds in a healthcare context. Mandatory overtime, staffing ratios, the use of unlicensed assistance people, and employer reductions in education benefits are just a few examples of practices that may result in conflicting needs in practice.
Through policies, action, and inactivity, leaders can contribute to both the problem and the solution. In this Assignment, you’ll expand on the white paper you started in Module 1 by addressing competing needs inside your company.

Examine the national healthcare issue/stressor you looked at in your Module 1 Assignment, as well as the analysis of the healthcare issue/stressor you chose.
Choose two evidence-based academic resources that focus on recommended policies/practices to apply to your chosen healthcare issue/stressor and read them.
Consider the feedback you received on your Discussion post on competing needs from your colleagues.

Identify and describe at least two competing requirements that are affecting the healthcare issue/stressor you’ve chosen.
Describe a relevant policy or practice in your organization that could have an impact on the healthcare issue or stressor you’ve chosen.
Examine the policy for ethical issues, and describe its benefits and drawbacks in terms of fostering ethics.
Recommend one or more policy or practice modifications to balance competing demands for resources, employees, and patients, while also addressing any ethical flaws in current practices. Give instances and be specific.
Provide two academic resources in support of your policy or practice recommendations, and cite evidence that informs the healthcare issue/stressor and/or policies.
