Discussion Paper on the Strategic Plan
Develop and present a strategy plan for the company you chose at the start of your MBA program with stakeholders. WALMART IS THE COMPANY; YOU MAY REFER TO THE WORK FOR WALMART FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN THE ATTACHMENTS.
To get important stakeholders to approve your strategy plan, make a 10- to 15-slide presentation. In your presentation, address the following points:
A mission and vision statement are included in the introduction.
Principles of core values, ethics, and social responsibility
An examination of the company’s:
Internal surroundings (e.g. strengths and weaknesses related to resources, trademarks, patents, copyrights, or current processes)
External circumstances (e.g. opportunities and threats related to market trends, economic trends, demographics, or regulations)
An assessment of the impact of the internal and external environments on the company’s strategy.
Create a company-wide strategic objective.
Establish short- and long-term objectives for accomplishing the company’s strategic objectives.
Determine how data will be collected and how the strategic plan’s success will be measured.
Include in-text APA citations as well as a reference page.
Cite at least three peer-reviewed articles. You may use your textbook as one of your references.
