Stage 1 – Big Dig (Research)
Explore everything your organization, sport or programme has written, felt, said, or thought about.
Consider your audience, what are they seeing, listening and feeling?
Look in the mirror look into your program’s past. Can you get to what it’s all about? What’s special about it?
Instead of becoming a story, players should strengthen your story.
Step 2 Paper Pen
Your brand story should just last one phrase and convey in a comprehensible and succinct manner what makes your program exceptional.
Following on from what you learnt in Chapter 3, describe some approaches to develop your Activation Plan to boost your program brand recognition.
Conclusion
Explain what you learned through the preparation of a marketing plan. How is this going to help you as a coach and a future sports manager?
