In this article Xie explained the differences between leadership skills on learning organizations. Two styles of leadership was explained, compared, and analyze amongst a company. A quantitative research style was used and it was discovered that transformational leadership was the best.
The article supports my research because its breaks down different styles of leaderships in learning organizations. I plan on using this article to look at different styles of leadership and multiple organizations and see if there is a common trend.

This article breaks down the difference between transformational and shared leadership modules. Seeing which one works in a working environment. The correct leadership to be used all depends on the mindset of the team when it comes to team effectiveness. Both styles are important but both should be use in unison to create the best environment.
This article supports my research because it shows that not just one style could be used. It could be a group of many styles to create the best situation for a company or organization. Many people think that only one leadership style is needed and this article would counter that claim by proving that it’s ok to use numerous.

This article explains the importance of communication when it comes to leadership styles. Communication is a very important and especially in the work force environment. In this article it explained this article broke down 6 communication styles with a survey of 279 employees in a governmental organization.
This article will support my research by showing the governmental organization in the aspects of communication. This article offers potentially invaluable input for leadership training programs by showing the importance of leaders’ s supportiveness, assuredness, and preciseness when communicating with subordinates.

In this article, the author compares managers to leaders which I found very interesting. I never really thought about comparing and contrasting the two because sometime we think of them as one in the same. This author explains that a leader is more so of an artist that conceptualization vice a manger who maintains the work environment. Sometime this can create a problem within the work place.
This article will support my research because both are needed in a way. Just because a person is in a managerial position, doesn’t mean they are necessarily a leader. A leader is able to be intuitive and have the courage to influence his workers. Whereas a manager is just pushing for a goal or quota.

In this article, the author examines the relationship between leadership dimensions and several outcome variables. The preferred leadership style identified by Bass are transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire. The changing nature of higher education suggests that effective leadership and committed employees are needed to cope with the demand foisted upon universities.
This article will support my research by identifying the best style of leadership for learning organizations. By breaking down the full range leadership model which include transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and laissez-faire leadership. This article will give me as the researcher another outlook to examine how leadership effect organizational commitment.

Being a leaders is key in making sure that the work environment is positive for the workers. This article explain that having a good leader proves that it could influence the workers.
This article will support my research because it shows different leadership styles and leadership techniques also by explaining what workers look for in a good leaders and how the two makes the work environment positive.

This article will support my research because it will explain how to engage with workers when they are having family issues. Being a great leader also entails about understanding the concept of over working your people and making sure that just as much as they are giving to the job they are giving the same back to family.

This article will support my research because it shows the dynamic of co-development when it comes to leadership and strategy. No one person and figure everything out as a whole. This study provides a more fine grained perspective on the new product frequency outcomes of co-development, by relying on organizational learning theory.
