Data analysis is the process of collecting, transforming, cleaning, and modeling data. Data analysis is usually performed to view data which allows you to explore data and find a patterns through an application or tool. “In order to conduct data analysis, the reliability and validity of the data must be evaluated. The statistical analysis software must be selected or purchased, and the statistics tests must be selected.”(Sue, 2017). Data analysis is also used to find possible solutions to an business problem. There are several phrases that data analysis use which is gathering the required data, collecting the data, cleaning of unnecessary data, data analysis, data interpretation, and visualization of the data. The phrase that involves gathering the required data involves gathering proper information needed for the analysis. Collecting the data is taking that information and using it for data analysis. Data interpretation is interpreting the data and using as visualization of the data. What do you think the main reason data analysis is used in healthcare? ReferenceSue (2017). Private clouds are used only by one consumer, public clouds are used by several, and hybrid clouds are a combination of both. There are 5 basic characteristics of cloud computing. 1) On-demand self-service: authorized personnel with the proper login systems can access data stored on a cloud server2) Broad network access: network capabilities can be accessed for multiple different types of devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones.3) Resource pooling: a cloud computing provider can service multiple different consumers in regardless of their locations4) Rapid elasticity: service can be increased or decreased based on the consumer’s current demand. This allows consumers to only pay for the amount that they use.5) Measured service: The use of cloud resources per consumer can be measured and managed individuallyCloud services have allowed consumers to store data on online servers more manageably and cost effectively than they could with on premise servers. Consumers can utilize resources while only paying for what they use. The cloud server is serviced and maintained by the provider while the costs of maintenance are split between the several consumers using the service. Cloud servers are frequently utilized in healthcare for these reasons.Biedermann, S. & Dolezel, D. (2017). Introduction to healthcare informatics. Examples include communication, critical thinking, organization, leadership, efficiency, and time management (Purdue University, 2021). Communication in the workplace is a crucial skill because that sets the foundation for collaboration and accomplishing goals. Goals are accomplished by employees possessing critical thinking skills. Critical thinking enables employees to determine the specific needs of a project and the “how-to” for the good of the company. Organizational skills are also important as they keep things together in a methodical manner, so businesses have direction. Any project or organization must have a leader, leadership skills are complex and are refined with experience. Leaders manage departments, oversee progress, and provide guidance to subordinates when applicable. Maintaining resources while proceeding with normal business requires efficient skills. Lastly, time management can be difficult but will keep the business running at a normal pace. What are some other transferrable skills? What makes those skills important?ReferenceCambridge University Press. 2022. Transferrable skills. In Cambridge Dictionary. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/eng…Purdue University.
