I’m looking for key characteristics to look for in the balance sheet, income statement and ratios for telecommunications, life insurance, mining, electrical utility, branded consumer foods, research and information services, shoe manufacturer, enterprise software, airline, automotive, online retailer, pharma, enterprise software, oil and gas, retail, automotive companies. If someone could help me out that would be great. I need to look at the statements and identify which is which.

Case 1 Allen was just drafted as a professional baseball player for the Wisconsin Blackbirds, a new team in the National League. Allen is a Wisconsin resident. He was told by some teammates that he should contact a tax professional regarding “duty days” and state taxable income.
