Violence in entertainment media is a controversial topic. Please explain the difference between sanitized, or camouflaged violence and more graphic violence portrayals, and discuss an example of each that you’ve come across in the media somewhat recently.
What are some likely short-term and long-term effects of exposure to those two examples that you experienced or think others would likely experience? What example do you think is potentially more harmful to audiences, and why?
