posting is actually an offer or a negotiation to make an offer and make a comment as to why you believe it is an offer or an invitation to negotiate.
Don’t be afraid if you are not sure what an offer is when doing the first assignment. We will cover “offers” in further detail in chapter 12. This
assignment is to get you to think what is an offer? After we discuss chapter 12, you may want to go back to the offer discussion and reread some
of the postings to see if you still think they are offers or invitations to negotiate.
Put up a proposal and put it forth in the debate. Before we get started, I’d want you to analyze at least two other students’ offers in the class,
assess whether or not they’re genuinely offers or negotiations, and explain why you think they are. Do not be hesitant to ask questions if you are
unsure of what an offer is. Ch. 12 deals with the topic of “offers” in more depth. I want you to think about what an offer is, and this assignment will
help you do just that. To check whether you’ve changed your mind, revisit the offer conversation after we cover chapter 12 and see if any of the
posts have changed.
