Instructions:
The goal of this project is to look at how to recognize, prioritize, and address a possible problem in the health-care setting.
Write a 1,100-1,400-word report that evaluates ways to handle a problem in the health-care system, including risk mitigation and additional compliance requirements.
1. Describe how you would go about determining whether or not a possible worry is a problem that needs to be addressed further. Discuss any specific triggering events you should use to kick off the process of continuous quality improvement.
2. Describe the instruments that will be used to identify the problem, propose a solution, monitor implementation, and report the results (i.e., benchmarking).
3. Once you’ve determined that the highlighted issue is one worth addressing, talk about how you’d prioritize this issue in comparison to other issues. Consider resource scarcity, labor expenses, capital investment requirements, your organization’s approval process, and where you are in the budget cycle.
4. Determine who would be deemed stakeholders or vested parties, as well as how you plan to reduce risk while implementing new compliance standards.
To back up your claim, you must cite at least five peer-reviewed studies.
Prepare this work in accordance with the APA Style Guide, which may be found in the Student Success Center.
