Overview
To research an article that uses statistical data related to a current event, your major, your current field, or your future career goal, use your textbook, the Internet, newspaper websites (such as USA Today, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, or The Washington Post), and the Strayer Library. Note: The Descriptive Statistics Assignment Template [DOCX] is given to assist you in organizing your thoughts and ideas.
The chosen article must be published during this quarter and use one of the descriptive statistics categories below:
Counting rules, percent, frequency, and frequency distributions are all examples of frequency measures.
Mean, median, and mode are all measures of central tendency.
Range, variance, and standard deviation are examples of dispersion or variation measures.
Positional indicators include percentiles and quartiles.

Write a 23 page document that includes the following:
Make a synopsis of the article.
Describe how descriptive statistics are used in the article.
Explain how the article relates to your major, present employment, or future career objective in the real world.
Examine why the author selected the various types of data included in the article.
