Relationship Between Structure and Organizational Performance
Assignment Prompt
One of the most important qualities that we develop as graduate students in MBA course is an awareness of the relationship between organizational structure, environments, and, of course, the organization’s performance, either market share or revenue growth.
For the 3rd assignment, you will be analyzing the relationship between structure and organizational performance (1)by describing environmental challenges of your company (or other companies that you chose for this assignment),with reliable resources (2) by analysis and “recommendation” on organizations’ structure (3) by comparison between current performance and anticipated performance after conducting organizational structure change as you recommend. Finally, you can write your recommendation in conclusion part in your own words.
Requirement:
For this Week Assignment, please find 5 new academic and scholarly sources to add to your the annotated bibliography we began during Week 1. Please identify these 5 new sources from the library, produce an appropriate APA reference for each of these sources, and describe the core points of each of these authors in a minimum of 150 words for each source.
Finally, provide a 1 page conclusion, set apart with a proper APA heading, that synthesizes the ideas of each of the presented authors into an advancing, well-informed opinion of your own in the shape of a personal essay. For simplicity and clarity, the conclusion does not require referencing.
Tips for Assignment: According to Hamel (2006), management is the most critical part to innovative companies who generate innovative products or services so often. Find out his argument on significance of management innovation and cite as it suits for your arguments for this course.
