- What is curriculum?
- Include a discussion of historical and current perspectives on curriculum theory and development.
- Identify a curriculum theory that is most applicable to your current (or future) role as an educational leader.

The Module 1 readings have provided a background on curriculum theory and development. While the readings are a blend of theory and practical considerations, it is important to translate these theories into action in a contemporary educational setting. Identify a curriculum (or a portion thereof) at your educational institution (or another educational institution that you have access to). Write a 3- to 5-page paper that:
- includes a brief summary of the curriculum
- identifies the curriculum theory most closely aligned to it
- explains your view on the effectiveness of this curriculum
- provides future recommendations for this curriculum as an educational leader at your institution.
