Often psychology textbooks have been criticized for not providing diverse perspectives when reviewing the growth of psychology in history. In the APS article and video provided, Dr. Robert M. Sellers explains reasons why psychological science must care about diversity. Explain why diversity is important to the field of psychology. Use the video to explain the acronym WEIRD, and why it is important to consider when reading psychological research.
Using the American Psychological Association resource provided, explore one of the topics regarding careers in psychology. Explain two or three things that you learned while exploring. Make sure you provide some specific details from the APA weblink given.
