There is no one definitive model of health that is universally agreed upon. In this assignment you will create a powerpoint that describes and discusses each of the four current models of health. Then, you will choose a health behavior or illness and analyze it in relation to each model of health.
Step 1: Discuss each of the current models of health as described in Chapter 1 of the textbook. Briefly describe each current model. 15 pts
Step 2: Analysis. Choose one of the following health behaviors or illnesses: ADHD, Alcohol addiction, HIV, obesity or smoking. Compare how each model of health would explain the causes of the health behavior or illness you selected. According to each of the models, what would be the logical intervention to treat and/or prevent the health behavior or illness you chose? Which model best explains this illness? Which are the least useful and why? 25 pts.
