Final project submission. See PDF Syllabus, main elements included here for your convenience:Final Project Plan Report Submission (32 Points)
The main outcome of your work in this course (as a team) is a collection of project elements from a project management plan, to be submitted in the form of a Summary Report which shows key stakeholders that your team has a solid project plan in place for executing their project. So it should be more than a simple collection of files, the report should flow and indicate how the various project tools and artifacts (charter, budget, Gantt Chart, Risk Register, Communications Matrix, etc.) flow and how they illustrate the strength of your plan. The instructor will provide a definitive list of the elements which are required and which may be optionally included. This is the single largest portion of your grade and the intent is to have students deliver something which is academically sophisticated and also is reflective of what project managers must actually deliver in their organizations. To further assist students, the instructor will provide, where appropriate, examples and templates to aid in the creation of these project management plan elements (example: a risk register and heat map).
Below is a template for creating a heat map and separately another file that has both a heat map and risk register. Use them as you choose.

Cover your learnings as a team including team dynamics
Connections/Structure/Support
7
How you provide background, references, connections between each of the tools and how they were used.
Total
32
The points on the individual elements are earned for:
how well your team demonstrated that they got the concept and applied the tool.
The overall appearance and clarity of the way the tool conveys the information
Remember: a PMs job is 90% communication, and one form of communication is presenting visual information in an intuitively obvious way
For example, in the WBS, if the Work Packages are truly assignable and schedule-able and budget-able, and the appearance and format are aligned with what we presented in class, and it does contain the full scope of both the product and the project, and it is very well-drawn (looks pleasing) it can gain all 4 points.Im sure you see from the table that the single largest element is the way in which the entire collection is organized, presented, and supported (shown in bold above).
If the team provides only a zipped collection of files for the elements, they dont gain too many points here.
Here are the attributes that build towards a perfect 7 out of 7 for this last element.
Introductory text: a paragraph or two with references if possible to let the reader know what they are about to see and why it is important. This should occur before each of the elements above.
Connective tissue in the introductory text of each element, and/or at the end, in a Summary paragraph, the team covers how the elements (which represent scope, schedule, cost, and possibly risk, communications, stakeholder management) depend on each other and interact
Structure organized in a logical, easy-to-understand manner
Clear use of English, reasonably good grammar, at least so as to be not-distracting
References, appendices to help support the projects charter and objectives, and importance
Connectivity to Benefits Realization, sustainability
