NCFLED Booklet Language Development and Communication Essay
Using the knowledge that you have gained from reading and the videos from last on LDC. Create an activity for a child 3 to age 6 that encompasses reading and writing. Include the name of the activity, the age of the children, list of materials needed, and any other specific tasks around LDC.
Finally, select one strategy from the Foundations of Reading on pages 109 and 110 to go along with the reading part of your activity and one strategy from the Foundations for Writing pages 114 and 115 depending on what age your activity is set-up for.
You may want to go back and re-read the LDC section of the NCFLED booklet Language Development and Communication (LDC) pages 88 -115 to help you.
You will only read one classmates’ activity and provide them with a response about their activity.

How did you address the client’s feelings? (Provide education, validation, empowering, and reframing statements) (20 points)
What is the action plan to assist the client along with corresponding resources? Be specific with resources. (name/address/phone #/web sites, etc.) (15 points)
What follow-up needs to occur? (5 points)

Your last 1-2 slides should contain your references in APA format.
Materials to support your crisis and intervention can contain newspapers, videos, and .com sites to assist in defining and describing the crisis.
Information within your slides that contains coping methods, interventions, educational information, etc. must come from your text, the scholarly journals (Troy library, Google Scholar), or only web sites that have .org or .gov; do NOT use Wikipedia or .com websites for these slides
