How to Present Your Business Plan Instructions
Your business plan’s presentations are worth ten points.
If an entrepreneur is seeking a loan or investment, he or she must show their business plan to outsiders at some point. Almost of entrepreneurs find giving a presentation to potential loan officers or investors difficult. Even if they are confident and have a well-thought-out business plan, they are concerned that they will not be able to explain the most significant components of their plan and pique the attention of loan officers or investors in the limited time given for the in-person presentation. Advance planning and rehearsal until your speech is flawless and polished are the keys to a good presentation. In a down economy, getting a bank loan or venture capital investment for a business is becoming increasingly challenging. It’s critical to have a pitch that highlights your idea, potential, market, and capacity to offer a return on investment to the bank or investors. Pitching and speaking in front of an audience is a more formal approach for obtaining a loan or investment in your firm. Your classmates will be your audience in this situation.
1. Each student will register with me for his or her presentation.
2. All physical copies of your business plans are due on Schoology on the date mentioned in class.
3. Make a power point presentation with 8-10 slides (you can incorporate images, music, etc.) that outline the ideas you want to emphasize. Include information on who you are and your firm, as well as its competitive advantages, marketing strategy, and management team, as well as why they will be able to lead this company to success.
4. Should last 10-15 minutes- In the allotted 10 minutes, you will be required to deliver a professional and brief summary of the firm. Following the presentation, you will have 5 minutes for questions and answers.
5. It’s best if you present it with your partner (if you have one). On the day you signed up for, all partners are expected to show up and be present.
