Agile Project Computer Science Discussion Essay Assignment

Justify your response
Please respond to student’s comment below:
I would follow the phases of group development, which are forming, storming, norming, and performing (AGC, 1). I would begin by creating a new board and list all of the tasks that is needed to be completed. This helps prioritize, when working on a specific deadline. I would break it down into groups so that it can be easily categorized.
I would create a person column, so that each task can be assigned to a specific team member. Having a status column is very important to keep everyone up-to-date with the progress of each task. It also helps keep everyone informed when a project gets delayed or stuck.
I would now make sure the tasks are prioritized, so that they are completed before the other tasks are. Doing so will prevent longer than expected time and will also help ensure that the lowest priority tasks are finished. It is also important to determine how long each task will take to complete. Doing so will help ensure that everyone has a realistic timeline. I would use tag columns, which are very useful to organize tasks. They can be easily categorized using a consistent hashtag system.
I would then, follow up with the team by adding updates to the tasks so that they can keep up with the latest news and details of the project. Follow-up meetings between 10-15 minutes, will also be included to keep everyone up-to-date with what’s happening in the team. These will be scheduled every day, so that everyone has a quick overview of what they’re working on.
In the meetings the team will review the progress of the sprints. I would make sure that all of the tasks have been completed. They would be marked with a green dot, to indicate they are done. Finally to keep track of all of the completed sprints, I would place the completed sprint at the bottom of the task board and repeat the listed above steps. This will keep a record of all of the details that were involved in the sprint (Monday, 2).
