Using examples from ADM, identify, and discuss the two specific Asian plantation workers whose lives were impacted by planters in Hawaii and, at times, employed the tactic of “divide and control” during the latter part of the 19th Discuss the Japanese strike of 1909 and what did it accomplish? What was the purpose of the immigration Act of 1924 and how were immigration patterns affected? When did the immigration quota end? From that point forward, how did the demographics among immigrants change after 1965?
