Subject: Business
Topic: Data Evaluation
Paper details:
In this coursework assignment, you will be responding to two question prompts, regarding my research paper. Your response to each question prompt should be at least 1 paragraph long. Your response, to both question prompts combined, should total at least 1 full page.
Please make sure you answer each question prompt on its own paragraph and separate from each other. My research paper is on “Management Approaches Best Suited for Effective and Efficient Decision-Making in Diverse Cultural Settings.” I have attached to this order the abstract of my research paper for your reference.
I have titled it “My Research Topic.” When responding to the question prompts, please make sure you consider the latter, as well as the reading materials that are listed in the attached list of “Available References.” ———–Begin Question Prompts——————– Question Prompt #1:
Evaluating data includes a process that includes several steps in preparing the data for use in statistical analyses. Prior to analyzing the data, the first step is to edit and code the data. Review the background reading (see attached file “Available References”) and external sources as applicable to discuss the following: Data editing and Data coding. In your discussion, address the value of editing and coding prior to data analysis.
Question Prompt #2: For now, you have identified a research interest and developed a research design (see attached filed titled “My Research Topic”). Develop a basic codebook for the data you decide to collect. The codebook will contain 3-4 demographic variables impacting the project and 4-5 quantitative variables. If you plan to conduct a qualitative study, then create a codebook that captures demographics and at least 5 themes. If it is easier for you, you can do this on an .xls spreadsheet instead.
Attach the codebook as an attachment and label the columns that are easily understood by the reader. Assess the value of creating a codebook before conducting analyses using statistical software package. ————End Question Prompts———————- Other Important Reminders: 1. You are welcome to use your own outside sources, BUT you must use at least 2 of the references listed in the attached list of “Available References,” for each question prompt. 2. Please make sure you cite your references, both in-text and on the references page, per APA guidelines. 3.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please make sure your responses to the question prompts should be consistent with what my research paper is about, as well as the reading materials listed in the “Available References.” 4. If a question prompt contains more than 1 question, please make sure you are answering all parts of each question prompt.
