Alchemy Part II – Video Transcript
For this activity, you will review reputable news outlets or scientific databases for recent articles (within the last 6 months) involving solution chemistry or redox chemistry. Choose one article to write about.
Your initial post should contain the following:
2-5 sentence summary of your chosen resource, in your own words
1-3 sentence opinion/personal relevance statement
1-2 sentences on course relevance, connected to Module Objectives. You do not have to limit yourself to the Module Objectives from this week, though the resource must involve solution or redox chemistry.
The URL (either full text URL or hyperlink) of your resourceFeel free to make your post more engaging by including an image. Right-click on the icon of a photo and then copy the URL. Be sure to adjust the size accordingly! Be sure that you are not duplicating an article found by a peer. It is ok to duplicate a topic as long as you are using a different source.
Consider: Some suggested search terms to get you started:
Climate change and ocean chemistry
Lithium-ion batteries
Water disinfection (could be BOTH solution chemistry AND redox, depending on disinfection method!)Here are some very scientific sources for chemistry news (though youre welcome to do your own digging on Google):
