Contextual influences on PowerPoint learning
In the learning process, contextual circumstances play a vital role. Factors other than family, culture, socio-economic dynamics and routines in family discipline can have a major impact on student growth and readiness to learn. Teachers who know these characteristics are equipped to accommodate the learning demands of different students. In addition, by amending instruction or procedures to address all the contextual elements of the students, they are more likely to achieve academic achievement.
Create an 8-10 digital diagram to help a teacher explore how contextual elements effect learning.
Include as follows:
· How social interactions, culture, society and technology might influence the growth of students and their readiness to learn.
· How contextual elements in classroom instruction can be handled.
Two concrete instances of how you would change classroom education in order to meet contextual factors (for example, you give a family-based Internet activity, but certain families of your students do not have internet connection to their homes). How do you change the activity?
· Title slide, reference slide and notes of the presenter. The title diaphragm and reference diaphragm do not count as part of your diaphragms because they are not considered content. Include a minimum of 8 content slides for success with this task.
The digital presentation should include content-related graphics which are visually attractive and which utilise space adequately.
Support your lecture with 2-3 academic resources. Quotes all throughout PowerPoint
