Creative Project Mentor Texts/Samples/Resources On this page, you’ll find some samples and resources for each of the creative project options. You don’t have to create your project exactly like these; they are only meant to give you inspiration and guidance. 1) Thinking of creating a Regional Project? I just added this option, so it’s new! I don’t have any examples yet, and I’m hoping some of you will provide me with some for the future : ) 2) Thinking of creating your own art exhibit that reflects and connects to the literature weve read? The same way that Kehinde Wiley created an exhibit based on Gilmans short story, The Yellow Wallpaper, youll craft your own.
This can be your own art, or you can curate a collection of other pieces that come together in one exhibit connecting to our readings/themes from this class. You can simply create a Googleslide / googledoc with your art OR even better- create a video or use Adobespark to create a virtual museum. Sample 4 used a great website called artsteps- take a look! It’s so cool! Here are some past examples of this: in materials You will choose TWO of the following projects: 1Regional Project 2Literature and Art 3Graphic Memoir 4Write an opinion piece or blog about anything weve discussed (literature or historical context / contemporary topics) (ideas: lit in real life, canon) Just write a short write up of creative project to post on discussion, example from classmates uploaded in materials.
