Rob Bell writes in his article “Mythos vs. Logos in the Bible” that “science and faith are long-lost dance partners.” While praising science’s achievements and praising the use of “logos” language, he contends that “mythos” language, which is the language of faith and religion, must be recovered. Indeed, he claims that “mythos” denotes what is “more than literally real” at one time. In doing so, he attempts to emphasize the reality that some experiences are often too large to be described in a logical manner. Respond to the following questions in two paragraphs (each paragraph should be no more than 4-5 sentences): Identify some (3-4) human events that would qualify for depiction in “mythos” language in the first paragraph, explaining why they often necessitate a “more than literally factual” description. In the second paragraph, choose one personal experience that, in your opinion, is best described using “mythos” language, and explain why.
PART TWO: ( I will send it after you finish the first part)
Identify at least one of the human situations named by a classmate that you had not considered as qualified for depiction in “mythos” language in your second post, in a single paragraph (no more than 4-5 phrases). Explain why you agree or disagree with that assessment.

As a caseworker, I inquire about “who, what, when, where, and why” from clients. I’m listening for their emotions while I quickly type or scribble their comments on why they’re homeless, addicted to drugs, or have lost custody of their children. I’m also on the lookout for signs of low self-esteem, mental trauma, or poor adaptability. A client may not express their difficulties directly, but via their choice of language, they might convey their grief and anguish. Part of my duty is to use the famous words “as evidenced by” to demonstrate this in their case notes.
My decision to return to my Christian religion is one experience in my life that is difficult to put into words. I can give facts about things in my life that were not going well, yet several things in my life were going fairly nicely on the surface. My casino career was progressing, but I couldn’t seem to discover anything that gave me a sense of purpose or joy. It becomes easier to describe why I wished to return to religion by expressing the emptiness I felt surrounded by.
