Discussion Essay on Training Design
The first topic is training objectives (Option 1)
Why is it so important to have training objectives in place for effective training and course design? What relevance do they have for (1) instructors, (2) students, and (3) course designers?
Comparing and contrasting technology-based and face-to-face training is the second topic.
As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, many companies have introduced more technology-based learning for their employees. Compare and contrast the benefits and drawbacks of technology-based training (such as Zoom, Skype, or other multimedia) vs in-person, face-to-face employee training. What learner/audience criteria would you consider as a designer when choosing between these delivery methods? What is your experience with these two types of employee training (face-to-face and virtual)?
