The purpose of this assignment is to understand the early stages in the project lifecycle. In this project, you will complete a discovery phase document which includes identification of business objectives, high level requirements, workflows, and objectives and goals with measurable outcomes based on key performance indicators (KPIs). The discovery phase document will be presented to the leaders of the business.
Write a 500-750-word report that describes how you will apply both process improvement and knowledge of emerging solutions in workflow management to the project discovery phase. This phase is focused on objectives and measurable outcomes through key performance indicators (KPIs). Write this assignment from the perspective of an IT manager or director. Integrate the problem statement and the workflow from Topics 1 and 2, respectively. How will you approach this problem with a technology solution? What are your recommendations for solving this problem?
Include the following in the discovery phase document:

Problem statement
Impacted processes and stakeholders
Project objectives and high level requirements
Goals with identified key performance indicator
An appendix containing your workflow document
