The scope of human service work is extensive. Human service professionals work not only in traditional social service agencies, but also in many nontraditional environments. Some of those locations include schools, prisons, business, factories, and offices in federal, state, and local government agencies and legislative bodies. Human service workers are making an impact in hospitals and mental health facilities, courts and correctional settings, home health care, and in services to the elderly. In fact, human service workers are everywhere where people need the help of a professional to alleviate personal or social problems. For human service professionals to be effective intervention agents in these varied environments, they need a set of unique skills across the full range of interpersonal communication.

FINAL CASE STUDY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In this assignment, you will finalize your case study making recommendations for needed services and planning for their implementation in a 6-8 page paper.
In Week 4, you identified a case study to address a community problem, using the academic literature to support your ideas. In Week 6, you identified an appropriate human services theory based on the academic literature, which most likely revealed many new perspectives, approaches, and solutions to problems. In the Week 7 discussions you analyzed the three human services delivery models (medical, public health, and human service). This week, you will revise your submissions from Weeks 4 and 6 as well as your discussions on human services delivery models in Week 7 to construct your final course paper, adding the final component of steps to implement some type of intervention or services in order to bring about change to improve outcomes through prevention and/or intervention, as well as a plan for evaluation.
Each of these parts should be combined to create one document that is integrated and presents a holistic perspective of human service theories, service delivery models, and roles as they specifically apply to your case study. Respond to any questions related to ethical conflicts and dilemmas that may arise. Incorporate recommendations for the case study based on your theoretical lens identified in Week 6 and human services delivery model in Week 7. Add details on the functions each of the human service professionals involved will perform in the case study. How will you describe and evaluate successful outcomes for service delivery?
Use feedback on your weekly assignments and discussions to improve upon the quality of your thinking and writing in this final assignment. Create headings to guide the reader based on the scoring guide categories. Use the MEAL plan to develop each section of your paper.
