The structure and function of the GI tract are affected by gastrointestinal (GI) and hepatobiliary illnesses. Because several illnesses often share symptoms, advanced practice nurses must thoroughly assess patients and offer treatment that focuses on the reason rather than the symptom.
Based on medical history and individual patient variables, an effective pharmacological therapy strategy might be prescribed once the underlying reason has been determined. In this assignment, you will look at a case study of a patient who has symptoms of a probable GI/hepatobiliary illness and create a medication therapy plan for them.
