As we learned from the videos about adult learners and learning styles, not all employees learn the same way. You should be comfortable identifying appropriate professional development opportunities for your employees, and should understand they way your employees learn most effectively.
For this assignment:
Using the Nursing CEUs website (Links to an external site.), or one of your choosing, identify the continuing education (CE) requirements for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in your state.
Complete the assignment template (Word document provided below) to identify appropriate professional development opportunities for your team of RN/LPNs.
Important: In Human Resources, ensuring forms are completed accurately is an essential job skill. To be eligible for grading, you must use the template provided (illustrated below, see also “assignment files”). You may format text as needed, but the contents should remain within the table provided.
APA requirements: Title page, reference page, three sources (non-scholarly sources are acceptable).
Briefly describe the activity identified, and the modality in which it is delivered (in-person, online, skills lab, etc.), and include how many CEUs are awarded for completion of that activity. You only need to provide ONE activity for each person. The employee will be responsible for identifying additional opportunities to meet their total number of required CEUs.
