HS410-4: Compare and contrast health record documentation standards and requirements.
Your employer works for a large academic medical center as the Director of Medical Records. He’s having trouble keeping up with the ongoing legislation and policy developments in the field of health information management. He has requested that you do the following tasks:

Prepare a one- to two-page report that highlights at least two of the most significant points your manager should know about. One should come from the Privacy and Security part, while the other should come from the Coding portion.
Make a recommendation to your manager for each.
Requirements for Minimum Submissions
In addition to the title and reference pages, this Assessment should be a Microsoft Word document (minimum 350 words).
Provide detailed examples of concepts, subjects, definitions, and other aspects requested in the questions while responding to the questions. Your essay should be well-organized, logical, and well-focused.

A list of references in APA format should be included on a separate page at the conclusion of your submission. For research, use your textbook, the library, and the internet.
Where applicable, cite both in-text and reference list citations, and reference all sources. The APA citation format should be followed in both your sources and your material. Examine the writing resources in Academic Tools for APA formatting
and citation. The Academic Success Center contains additional writing materials.
Include a cover sheet; double-spaced; Times New Roman, 12 pt font; accurate citations; written in Standard English with no spelling or punctuation issues; and correct references at the bottom of the last page.
The work submitted for this competency assessment will be returned without being scored if it does not match the minimum submission requirements.
