A health-care organization that was accused of committing fraud is a Philadelphia area doctor who was sentence to 12 months and one day in prison for illegal distribution of Oxycodone. Fraud has the potential to disrupt the activity of any business. Fraud can threaten the survival of the business itself by limiting the confidence partners and clients have in it by promoting mistrust inside the workplace. First, I will have a plan before fixing the company’s reputation. With this situation, I believe the best way to prevent this from occurring will be to have a second nurse or MD signing medications before distributing the medication. It will prevent fraud from happening.
