I’m making preparations for my final Rite Paper
Order ID: 89JHGSJE83839 Style: APA/MLA/Harvard/Chicago Pages: 5-10 Instructions:
Our talk this week will be a little different.
Make a list of your wishes for how you want your death to be recognized from a cultural standpoint. Funeral, memorial ceremony, celebration, music, eulogy, where outside in a beautiful setting, or cremation with a little service at a later date in the home, or alternative arrangement What would mean the most to you right now, as you anticipate this event? Make plans for your final rite of passage, and consider printing copies to gift to your family.
Make this assignment a reality: who would attend; what music would you prefer; the eulogy, family members or friends who would offer farewell remarks; pallbearers: if you were to be viewed, how would you want it done; if you were cremated, how would you want the remains disposed of; any written words from you that you would like read? What aspects of your life would you like to be highlighted – this is extremely essential and is more personal and informal than an obituary.
Write your response as a detailed essay with a nice flow. You’ve probably considered it, so now’s the time to finish out the last details of your final affairs.
Background: How do you feel about arranging your last rites? Who will be in charge of carrying out/managing the specifics?
Viewing and Cremation of the Body
Wake/Viewing, Funeral Service, Memorial Service, Interment, or Other Service Location and Service:Eulogies, music, and other aspects of the event
Invitees, Reception, and Location for the Post-Service Gathering
If you choose not to have a final event or if your cultural/religious views prevent you from writing things down, react appropriately and explain why; rationale/logic, any family or personal concerns, etc (that you are comfortable to share). Then consider and remark on how others, such as family members or others in close ties, might be affected if no final agreement is reached. You may share your thoughts on any past the last service, whether favorable or negative, and how that informed your decision. Make an obituary for yourself and put it in your discussion post.
This two-page topic is necessary.
To receive full credit, remember to check back during the week and make thoughtful, substantive comments to at least two classmates.
A good response will be at least three to four paragraphs long, with whole sentences and clear language. In your response, please identify at least two of this week’s Learning Resources.I’m making preparations for my final Rite Paper
