INTRODUCTION:
What is the number of the bill and proper title? When was the bill introduced?
Who sponsored the bill? Which party and district do they represent? Please include all counties/areas of the district.
SUBSTANTIVE ISSUE ANALYSIS
What (specifically) did the bill propose to do? (Give a brief synopsis of the legislation which describes in detail what the bill is about so that anyone can understand its purpose)
(The following questions MUST be based on FACTS, not your opinion)
• What are the arguments for/against the bill?
• Whom will the bill affect if it becomes a law?
• What, if any, are the unintended effects of the bill?
• What are the social work value issues/considerations in the bill? (Must refer to specific values and/or ethics in NASW Code of Ethics)
COMMITTEE ANALYSIS
Was the bill been assigned to a committee(s)?
If so, please answer the following questions for each assigned committee in order of hearings.
