Specifications of the project
Project managers should be effective managers and leaders in addition to having the skills, information, tools, and strategies required to manage projects effectively. Consider the supervisors and leaders with whom you’ve worked throughout your career. Consider what made such individuals “excellent” or “bad” managers and leaders.
Describe a particularly effective leader you’ve encountered in your life. What differentiated them from other managers? What characteristics did they have that you found particularly effective?
Consider how your peers’ experiences are comparable to your own when replying to them. What characteristics did the leaders they described have in common with the most effective leaders in your life? How did the leaders they depicted differ from the ones you’ve met?
Please respond to the Discussion Board in your own words and leave comments on other posts. The quality of your postings will determine your grade.
Please consult your text, Web resources, and any course materials for assistance with your work.
Reminders for the Discussion Board:
Three postings are required: one main post and two peer responses.
The first post must be made before midnight CT (Central time) on Friday of each week, whether it be your main post or a reply to others.
The second and third posts must be published on days other than the first.
