Unit 1- Creative Nonfiction Summative:
Everyone Has a Story To Tell
Goal: The goal of this summative is for you to write and present a piece of creative nonfiction with personal flare.
Task: Students will choose ONE story to tell. They will do so through a medium of their choosing, as long as it is done online and is a minimum of 500 words. Students will then record their presentation for our class.

I have chosen a meaningful story to tell.
I have selected an appropriate method that reflects the content of my story.

I have used literary devices to enhance the meaning of my story.
I have included all story elements (character, setting, point of view, conflict and theme).
The theme in my story is very clear.
I have edited my writing; there are no spelling or grammar mistakes.
I have applied effective communication skills to present my story to the class.
I have posted my story on Google Classroom.
I have posted my story on the class Website.
